Step One
PROJECT ANALISYS MEETING
Welcome to Dybdahl’s Classic Kitchens. Most people begin the exciting design process by making an appointment with one of our qualified designers at our showroom in Middleton, WI. The goal of this meeting is to get to know you, your design desires and needs as well as assess the monetary scope of your project. In preparation for the meeting, we will mail or email you a survey so we can learn more about you and your project.
At the Project Analysis meeting, if you are remodeling, we will ask you to bring photographs and dimensions of the space you wish to remodel. For new homes, bring a set of your house plans. In either case, bring any images you may have collected that represent the style, colors and textures you imagine for your home. We will sit down together to review all of this and interview you regarding the desired aesthetics and use of the space. This is an opportunity for you to interview us as well. You will learn about our team and how we work. This is a great opportunity to not only see examples of Dybdahl’s past work, but a time to experience and play with the products in our showroom.
After initial product selections are made, we will offer design concepts and give you a projection of the financial scope of the project.
If we all concur that we are a good fit for each other, the next step in the process is an agreement in the form of a Design Retainer. The Design Retainer is typically between $1,000 and $2,500 depending on the size of the project. We will then set the next meeting date.
